From saturday, the 2nd of June until wednesday, 13th of June, there was an exposition of my paintings in the „Kunstraum Grevy!“, Rolandstr. 69, 50677 Cologne (Köln) together with the works of my friend and Cologne artist Karl Heinz Heinrichts www.heinart.net.

Das Bild ist 160 cm x 130 cm groß. Es ist ein Bild aus der Serie Geschichte II, dass 2018 in Köln zu sehen war.
Dieses Bild besteht aus vielen Farbschichten und Farbaufträgen. Einige Farbschichten sind nicht mehr zu sehen, aber sie sind noch vorhanden. Für mich entwickelt sich eine Geschichte, die im fertigen Bild endet. Diese Gedanken beflügeln mich bei der Entstehung der Bilder und lassen mich mit der Farbe spielen.

This painting consist of many layers and applications of paint. Some layers of paint are not visible anymore, but they still exist. In my mind, this process is a kind of developing a history, which ends in the last state of the painting. These thoughts inspire me during the genesis of the paintings and let me play with paint.
